Formed in 1981, 102.1FM 8CCC is an outback radio station with a proud history of unique programming & regular Centralian/Barkly-inspired music.

8CCC decisions are made by a volunteer Board of Management and a part-time Station Manager(s).

8CCC’s mission:

To involve and service the Alice Springs and Tennant Creek communities with services, programming and content that is not readily available in the commercial broadcasting arena.

8CCC strives to:
  • Promote and foster a community and multicultural voice through the electronic media.
  • Enrich people’s lives with a diversity of programs and services that inform, educate and entertain.

8CCC is a member of the Community Broadcasters Association of Australia (CBAA) and part of Australia’s Community Radio Network (CRN).
