This week’s 8CCC Feature Album celebrates 10 years since Dami Im represented at the 2016 Eurovision and gathered the Dami Army. Here she returns to her roots, focusing on musicality, storytelling, and the simple magic of voice and piano, drawing on the jazz and classical influences of her early years as a musician.

Recorded with a live jazz trio and lush strings, the studio EP Stormy Weather feels intimate and deeply personal, with each song telling a small but meaningful story. From the self-deprecating bossa nova of ‘Sight of You’, to the melodramatic and reflective ‘Proud of Me’, and her rendition of the timeless jazz standard ‘Stormy Weather’, the EP reveals a softer, more playful side of Dami’s songwriting.

Dami has performed on some of the world’s biggest stages, from the glittering spectacle of Eurovision to high-energy pop performances alongside K-pop stars. With Stormy Weather, She will take the EP on the road this June, performing the songs in intimate jazz venues where the music can be experienced up close, just as it was created. With sold out shows in Melbourne and Perth over the next month, check it out on streaming platforms.
