8CCC Feature Album is Kisschasy‘s The Terrors of Comfort.
As the band have written onFriday 13th Feb: ‘The Terrors Of Comfort’, our first … album in 16 years, is out TODAY. Surreal doesn’t begin to describe the feeling. All we can say is that we truly believe this is our best work and that it will stand the test of time. It wouldn’t exist otherwise.’

You heard that right – ten years after bowing out – comes their 4th album, the first made independently, without a record label and without an outside producer. The title was inspired by a photographic book found in an LA thrift store and the cover art from the punk singles from the 70s and 80s and the typeface by 60s artist Ed Ruscha.

‘Instead of trying to replicate the band’s pop-punk past, Cordeux leaned into what had always mattered most: emotional intensity…“It just sounded bigger. Heavier. More commanding,” he says. “The way those guys attack their instruments, that’s something people sometimes miss. Live, we’re a heavy rock band.”’ Rolling Stone

They are off to tour with Good Charlotte and Yellowcard. Grab the vinyl, with cutout name and yellow lyrics insert. They want to hear what’s your favourite track!
