Kootsie has an electrifying new track Go Stupid – a high-octane anthem that blends razor-sharp yet witty lyricism with an unapologetic attitude that slaps. Known for her fierce delivery and cultural pride, Kootsie continues to carve out her own space for Blak excellence in Australia’s hip-hop scene.

His latest ‘I’m Barred Again’ is an exciting collaboration with the amazing indigenous singer/songwriter Stuart Joel Nuggett, from Elliott in the NT.

Alice Kings is a collective of young, predominately Indigenous MC’s from Mparntwe Alice Springs, featuring IllMatty, King O, Brotha Blinky, Rian & Russell. Ranging from 7 to 12 years old they rap about things they know and kids can relate to. All but Osama dropped into the 8CCC studio to talk with Kate about making their album Young Prodigies, out today! On Arvos with Andy we have Yung Milla. He is a loud and proud member of the Marranungu people, who are the traditional landowners of the Litchfield National Park in Darwin. He's a gun with his pen having written, recorded and released four songs independently all of which have gained the attention of tripleJ unearthed. Yung has just released Rain he has been doing shows, workshops and mentoring going to all the remote communities in the NT.

On Arvos with Andy we had local First Nations artist Kirra Voller. Kirra is a proud Wirangu woman, singer/songwriter/poet and an activist. Kirra recently collaborated with the Desert Divas. Desert Divas has been running every year in Alice Springs since 2010. It provides mentoring and other industry connections for emerging Indigenous female singer/songwriters, promotes the creation of original music by NT artists and supports women and older girls to develop skills and confidence as performers.

Kee Ahn produces soul-folk sounds and has a powerful exploration of Black love, grief, and healing. Kee Ahn’s release of her EP for me for you x. Came out on October 9. Kee Ahn has announced a headline tour with shows in Sydney, Brisbane, Townsville, and Melbourne. The announcement comes alongside the release of her stirring new single ‘At Least For Now’. The song also marks a new chapter in Kee’ahn’s creative process, as she experimented with self-production for the first time, recording layered harmonies late at night in her bedroom. To bring the final version to life, she collaborated with Jake Amy (keys), Anthony Liddell (bass/production), Sensible J (drums/percussion), and Elle Shimada (strings).

Charlie Jr together with IMF graduates, are running to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait peoples, cultural strength and achievements, to empower inspirational leaders. The foundation stives to bring about a unified and healthy Australia. The IMF was founded by Robert de Castella AO MBE, former World Marathon Champion, Australian of the Year (1983), and iconic Australian.
