Nuclear test survivor to speak at 5th Yami Lester Memorial Address

Ceduna based Kokatha woman, Sue Haseldine, visits Mparntwe / Alice Springs as the guest speaker of the 5th Yami Lester Memorial Address held on Saturday 10 August at The Roastery. Sue is a nuclear weapons test survivor and an Ambassador for the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (winners of the 2017 Nobel Peace Prize). The family friendly event is hosted by the Independent and Peaceful Australia Network, with an Arrernte healing ceremony, lunch available, and music, stories, crane making, and children’s activities.
