Red Dirt Poetry Festival director Laurie May dropped into the Big Brekky Show this morning with 2022 Australian Poetry Slam Champion Jo Yang, fresh off the Greyhound from Tennant Creek. The full line up, which starts tonight at The Earth Sanctuary, can be found on their website.

Ken Perkins was not long in the Northern Territory before he became aware of the buffel problem, inspiring him to write a poem. Having researched the situation, he was led to approach the Arid Lands Environment Centre (ALEC) for information and he hopes to find a songwriter to make it into music.
