Kyanne Cardona – From Alice to Melbourne

Kyanne Cardona is a talented netball player in the NT competition. She appreciates that transitions can be a challenge for young people leaving the Northern Territory. She is now pursuing her dream of being a remote area nurse moving to Melbourne and studying at RMIT. Kyanne has learnt the sacrifice of leaving the NT lifestyle and family to fulfill her life ambition. It was important to acknowledge on the Brekky show the cost involved for many young Indigenous people leaving home to obtain a degree and career interstate.
