Alice Ross, Coordinator at Bikes Mwerre, and Guido Verbist, General Manager of Revolve Recycling speak about their partnership, which will see 100 refurbished bicycles delivered to Alice Springs by the end of January, strengthening access to healthy, active and positive opportunities for young people. The goal is to distribute 30 of the 100 before school goes back, with the remaining 70 gifted to young people who need a bike in April School Holiday programs and also afterschool sessions during Term 1 and 2 of 2026.  Revolve Recycling aims to continuously raise funds to support the delivery of refurbished bikes to Central Australia. Bikes Mwerre and Revolve Recyclings partnership will ensure the longevity of the community bike program and enable more bikes to be rehomed to young people.

Shaun Edwards, Founder of clothing label House Of Darwin and former AFL player, chats to The Big Brekky about the label - a for profit social enterprise that reinvests in remote indigenous communities through social programs.The House of Darwin team will be in Mparntwe next week to paint a mural with young people, and meet with the community. On April 13th they will be at The Goods cafe and then presenting 'Desert Said Dance' at the Jump Inn.
