J-Milla highlighted the Mentorship Program at Barrunga which he uses music as healing and therapy to provide a safe, non-verbal way to process trauma. Through songwriting workshops with his brother Yung-Milla they use rhyming music and listening, so it can help trauma survivors reconnect with themselves, build social bonds, and restore feelings of identity. They also have a collaboration which is a powerful new track called Barrunga inspired by the Barrunga Statement that will be released 24th October.
