The wait is over! 8CCC is featuring the debut album for Mulga Bore Hard Rock – Sweet Home Mulga Bore. Youth band Mulga Bore Hard Rock is Thunder Child (Alvin Manfong – vocals/guitar), Desert Demon (Kirklen Bird – bass/vocals), Desert Dingo (Aiden Manfong – drums), Queen of Hearts (Niara Tilmouth – vocals/tambourine), Star Boy (Tryell Bird – guitar/vocals) and Black Diamond (Talvin Bird – bass).
The album tells the story of who they are and where they come from, altogether encapsulating the early mindset of an act destined for an enduring legacy within our country’s rock n roll landscape. Working alongside producers Dave Walker and Craig Harneth in his St Kilda Studio, the 6-piece act shaped a gritty, raw 8-track collection propelled by their signature hard rock sound. On track “Rocking With The Legends”, the band recount a pivotal milestone supporting rock legends KISS at their final 2022 Australian tour date on the Gold Coast. The moment saw them personally praised by the iconic rock group, and would catapult them onto the map in our local rock scene. The track also has a special feature from Indigenous activist Kutcha Edwards armed on backing vocals.
