8CCC know from the time this Naarm band have spent in the Centre, these guys have fun with a capital F and that spells Floodlights! Louis, Joe, Ash, Archie and Sarah released their album Underneath last week and it encapsulates all the energy and talent we have seen at their performances here: Montes in 2022, at the Alice Springs Brewing Co in 2023 touring their album Painting of My Time, and at the Gap View Hotel in July last year. Unfortunately they won’t be returning here on their Underneath tour, but will perform in NZ after WA and the major Oz cities, rounding out a couple of years on the road around the planet!
You should check out the videos and photos too for this, their third album, where they literally threw themselves in the ocean. Produced “after stripping back the layers to expose their own vulnerabilities, hopes, fears and passions… Underneath was shaped by a surreal period in each members’ lives – full of firsts, exploring new places, playing their biggest gigs and festivals yet.”
