Alice Desert Festival and 8CCC celebrates local artistic spirit. We featured three local performers on this week’s Heartbeat. Biddy O’Loughlin and Alecia Buchanan treated us to live performances in the studio of their original songs and we also featured some songs from Alice’s own Asante Sana choir from their concert in Ormiston Gorge in September 2011. Biddy and Alecia perform at the Alice Springs Desert Music Club Jam Night, and Asante Sana are performing during the Alice Desert Festival at Desert Voice with a host of choirs from across Central Australia and at Acapella in the Gorge on Sunday 16 Sept.
