This week we celebrate the history of Central Australia’s oldest Arts organisation, the Alice Springs Theatre Group which took a small tin shed, the detritus of WW11, and turned it into a cultural hub called the Totem Clubhouse Theatre.
Our guest is Scotty Balfour, singer, guitarist and squeeze box player for Bloodwood, the legendary Centralian bush band and member of the Central Australian Folk Club.
We also invite you to share your memories of the Totem Theatre on Sunday 21st April, 2013.
Broadcast: Tuesday 9 April 2013 at 5.30pm on 8CCC Community Radio 102.1FM
Repeated: Following Friday at 9am and Sunday at 5.00pm
