As a host and regular contributor to the flagship program, she is passionate about sharing diverse local stories, music, and content with her community. A proud Larrakia, Wadarman and KarriJarri woman homegrown from Darwin, Mikaela is an artist and community art freelancer by choice, a music fiend and lover by compulsion.

Jens
Jens loves playing music and yapping with you. Jens wants to let you know voices are resistance, like Mama Crystal once said “kujukuju dalamia arkulani yangamini jirti gindigi yimora kirijini tika mapurtiti nonga gindigi nimarra nginya”, gua nginari pupuni.

Keren Leizerovitz
Keren is a presenter and producer for Saltwater Radio’s flagship show and market update segment. Keren is passionate about building up Saltwater Radio as a platform to celebrate the unique voices, stories and sounds from the Top End.
Jocey Tribe
Jocey (also known as DemiRep / Jocelyn Tribe) is a Larrakia/Darwin based DJ and has called this saltwater country home for a decade. With a music selection that adapts to rhythms across many genres she spins with one main purpose, to hype the sisterhood into accessing liberation through dance and representation. As Co-Curator for Club Awi at Darwin Festival, she promotes lesser-known DJs and musicians to the “Australian” scene. Her influence in the line-up spans East Arnhem Land, Mparntwe/Alice Springs, and Timor Leste. She mentors Darwin’s women, trans, and non-binary beginner DJs through Open Decks program. She grew up in Footscray among the multitudes of other diaspora. Her sound for Saltwater Radio leans into nostalgia for the concept of ‘home’ through a Diaspora perspective.
Will Morris
Will Morris (WilBurr) has been living and creating on Larrakia land for about 25 years. Contributing to the underground music scene by creating zines, producing podcasts, and writing and performing music in some of the best DIY/ punk bands you’ve never heard of. Will is the person at Saltwater Radio squinting at a screen in the background, politely arguing with audio and streaming technology. Will loves his role in the Saltwater team as Sound/ Tech Person and looks forward to sharing his knowledge of audio production to the Saltwater team. Will can’t wait to see how the team and project grows over the coming months and years.
Saltwater Radio is the flagship program of the Saltwater Radio collective, and the first 8CCC show broadcasting from Garramilla country in the top end.
Featuring the best music from here and around the world, great vibes, conversations and culture. Wednesdays from 7pm.
