Red Hot Arts Central Australia is a vibrant arts charity fostering arts and cultural innovation, development, collaboration and entrepreneurship in Alice Springs, Central Australia. Our annual program covers three areas.
As a member based Incorporated Association. General Membership is free and lets people vote, nominate for the board, influence direction and programming, attend workshops and access services. Paid members have greater membership benefits and access to services and support.
Red Hot Arts offers professional development opportunities through workshops and mentoring to build capacity in arts workers, events and the regional sector. We work cross sector to create new commercial opportunities and partnerships that boost audiences and offer more venues for performance and expands income opportunities for artists. We provide member access to services and operational tools to improve the professionalism of their projects and work practice; including grant services, applicant based 5-month show development and media-kit program
Red Hot Arts manages 67 Bath St a city central creative work hub, offering studio, meeting, workshop and seminar space, Fibre To The Premises (FTTP), room scale video camera, co-working and the anchor tenant for NT’s leading arts organisations. Through our What’s On service we offer online promotion, offline and digital signs/screens and traditional media promoting regional arts and cultural experiences to local, visitor and intrastate markets to promote the region’s arts and cultural experiences. We also offer online/offline and in venue ticketing and door systems for local events.
Red Hot Arts produces the Desert Festival, an annual festival of local, regional and national shows across multiple art forms; and provides a platform for new signature events for the region to ultimately be independent of the Desert Festival. We also incubate new festivals and events support organisations in developing and delivering their events and building a local and national audience base with the goal to establish Central Australia as a national destination for arts and culture and to increase the commercial opportunities for artists in the region. The program also provides operational support to events and festivals throughout the year; and can connect events and conference coordinators to artists and technicians.
