Little Rippers to race on upgraded Tennant Creek Speedway

The hotly-contested Northern Territory SSA Junior Sedan Titles – or Little Rippers Lifestyles finals – will get to race on a freshly-upgraded track at Tennant Creek Speedway this weekend.

8CCC’s Kate Lyons-Dawson spoke to Tennant Creek Speedway President Jayden Geizendanner about the upgrades, as drivers prepare for the 2025 Little Rippers Lifestyles SSA Junior Sedan NT Titles.

The track has been upgraded with the help of Arunga Park’s Pete Lightfoot, with new lights and a fresh clay surface for drivers coming from across the Territory, Queensland, Western Australia and New South Wales for the titles.

In all, 21 drivers from around the country will battle it out at the speedway for the top NT1 position this Sunday night out at TC Speedway, with a morning barbecue breakfast to kick the huge day off from 8am, scrutineering from 9am and final parade at 6.45pm before the 7pm start.
