A new mural is to be painted at Megafauna Central that will help you step into a prehistoric world of when megafauna roamed. Sydney artist, Peter Schouten, and Adam Yates, Megafauna Central’s own senior palaeontologist, chat with The Big Brekky about the project.

Peter has visited the Alcoota fossil beds, and was asked by Adam to create a mural of megafauna that would have been found at that site. Peter has been working on the mural for 6 days already, and particularly delights in painting creatures that either cannot or have not been photographed, due to extinction or rarity.
