He generously took time out to talk the listeners through what's involved in nominating for the NT Volunteer Awards. Nominations are open until 7 April.

Volunteering NT's Megan Saltmarsh spoke with the Brekky Show about the progress with the NT Volunteer Award 2026 nominations which close 7 April, and sent a shout out to all the emergency volunteers who have responded to the floods across the NT. They are also still looking for grassroots organisations and especially those deserving of the Youth awards - for all young people under 24 years.
