UPDATE: Due to sorry business Mulga CLA’s Community Consultation Session will now be held on Tuesday 2 September.
Tennant Creek’s five Community Living Areas (CLA) – Mulga, Wuppa, Tinkarli, Village and Marla Marla – are set to receive the keys to new community centres in the next four to six week.
Before that happens, Julalikari Council Aboriginal Corporation are conducting community consultation sessions in each CLA to develop plans for use to suit the residents of each CLA.
8CCC’s Big Brekky Program caught up with Julalikari CEO Lachlan Wilkins to find our more about these centres, their potential uses and the ways in which the community can be actively involved in the future of them.
