The final Courtyard Session of the year pays tribute to one of Australia’s national living treasures, an Outback Icon and the man who inspired the creation of the Alice Springs Courtyard Sessions – Ted Egan AO.
Ted is a true gentleman and a great larrikin. He has tracked the Outback’s history in story and song for more than 50 years. Too often a prophet is not truly appreciated in his or her own town but this is our chance to acknowledge what an amazing contribution Ted has made to life in the Territory and to Australian music.
Please join us for this very special concert as a select group of Central Australian musicians pay tribute to Ted by singing one of his songs and then Ted also takes time to entertain us in his unique style.
