RuflKim Petersen was an avid 8CCC listener from the station’s early days, when his mother, Teddy Cairns was a regular broadcaster.  In this program Joy talks with Kim’s good friend, Rufl, one of the longest serving broadcasting volunteers with 8CCC.  Rufl talks about his first connection with 8CCC through a school film studies course, meeting Teddy and Kim and his involvement since then in Alice Springs, Tennant Creek, and how he continues to produce his weekly program ‘Get out those old records‘ from his home in Queensland.

This program is dedicated to Kim, who Graham Hinton (producer of Sunday Morning Country) described as ‘a really decent bloke.’
