Welcome to 8CCC Community Radio’s special Barkly Regional Council election coverage, where we’re profiling the mayoral candidates ahead of the local government election on Saturday, November 2.
Early voting is underway with 12 councillor positions and one Mayor position to fill. We’ve reached out to each of the six nominees* for the position of mayor to request a profile interview where we ask each candidate a series of questions designed to uncover their personal stories, key policies, and visions for our communities.
