John BJ Owers left this life on 27/03/2013. BJ was there at the start of 8CCC, he brought us his music, his humour, his kindness, his Elvis, his acting and his loyalty. He was on this community radio journey with us for over 30 years. Thank you, dear friend, from all your mates at 8CCC Community Radio.
Join his mates in celebrating BJ’s life at a graveside ceremony on Tuesday 30 April at 10am at the Alice Springs Cemetery, South Stuart Highway, Alice Springs, followed by a gathering at the Gillen Club.
