CY-logoFor the final episode in this series of Centralian Yarns, we find out about the meteoric rise of a Facebook group called Growing Up In Alice Springs. We meet the woman behind the FaceBook group – Gina Livesay Sutton – and hear how this social network almost never happened!

Growing Up In Alice Springs was formed in 2012 and went viral, growing within a few weeks to almost 10,000 members.  To put this in context, that is over one third of the current population of Alice Springs.  Gina is still amazed at the speed and scale of growth.

We hear about why Gina set up the group, who helped her, and also some of the stories, connections and developments that have happened since it began.
