Kiwi: Upfront and Outback.
It is with great sadness that 8CCC advises listeners and friends of the passing of Kiwi, an 8CCC community radio legend, this past Sunday.
Kiwi was a great presence around the Alice Springs studio and presented the very popular Sunday Morning Country Show on 8CCC for over 12 years and was involved with 8CCC for over 20 years. (See Kiwi’s show profile here.)
Renowned for his relaxed “Sunday style” programming of easy-listening Country music (and a few cheeky songs or jokes from time to time), we know there are lots of people out there who will greatly miss Kiwi’s voice every Sunday morning.
8CCC sends Julie and Kiwi’s family our sincerest condolences during this sad time.

Regarding arrangements, 8CCC will pass on any public advisories that come via Kiwi’s partner Julie.
For the coming weeks, Graeme Hinton will be returning to 8CCC with some special programming that includes a lot of Kiwi’s favourites.
