Isadora Roberts, Barkly Regional Youth Programs Coordinator visited the Tennant Creek 8CCC studio with Dakota from Barkly Regional Deal to talk up the 12 teams who turned up for the Rossy Williams Shield in cricket. Softball (turn up to Sporties on Saturday at 12pm) and Volleyball are firing up and looking for players. The Sport and Recreation position has just had interviews, so the role should soon be filled. There’s a call out for tenders for the Purkiss Reserve kiosk too. Dakota is a Community Researcher at BRD just new to the role and one of the great young people involved at Barkly Regional Deal. They’re also looking to start a Youth Group together involving those between 12-25.
