8CCC is broadcasting twenty of the best of series one of Centralian Yarns – featuring local stories with a global spin. The series is produced by historian, Megg Kelham, journalist Helen Womack, and Joy Taylor. Centralian Yarns was a finalist in the 2013 Voxies (National Community Radio Awards) and has been distributed by the Community Radio Network to community radio stations across Australia.
Each episode will be broadcast on Tuesday at 5.3opm, Friday at 9am and Sunday at 5pm on 102.1FM and online.
First episode is Walking Country – celebrating 30 years of the Central Australian Bushwalking Association.
