Minister Edgington discusses proposed amendments to the Local Government Act 2019, including reforms to councillor conduct, procurement processes, and electoral regulations. He also addresses the Northern Territory Government’s position on the possible de-amalgamation of large regional councils — including Barkly — and encourages locals to participate in today’s public consultation session in Tennant Creek at 2pm.
